Summer Time
It's summer time! But I just don't feel like it's summer because the weather is acting weird. There's snowfalls in June, mixed rain and hail in the month of July, very cool temperature plus the wind was blowing ridiculously that made the whole summer to be a cool weather. It is actually a very cold summer. I don't have any complains at all because we live in North Dakota now.

Opening Dates
The campground opens on May 1st and closes on October 1st every year. This year, we opened April 3rd because one camper had to be in Jamestown for work. We provided electricity for his travel trailer and after the snow melts on the 3rd week of April, they finally got water and sewer.
It was a long winter journey for us. The blizzard made us stay home and get bored. But we survive after all.

The New Layout
For this blog, I have been thinking what would be the best layout I could come up plus the color and everything here. I would like to have something nice so my readers will be interested to everything I post here. I contacted Ivy - The Designer Chic to create the layout for this blog. I already purchased the domain for this blog and it seems that it is not working too well. I need to know what's going on or else the money I paid for the domain is gone.
I wish to hear from Ivy soon so I can make more posts and ready for the publish. I am also excited for the new layout of this blog.

Living In Jamestown, North Dakota
Jamestown is a city in North Dakota. It is the county seat of Stutsman County. The population was 15, 527 at the 2000 census, making it the 7th largest city in North Dakota. Jamestown was founded in 1872.
The symbol of Jamestown
From Kentucky to North Dakota! I lived in Kentucky for a year before we finally moved to Jamestown, North Dakota last July 2008. When I first came to Jamestown, I noticed so many things and I compare it to the state of Kentucky. In Kentucky, all roads are paved (no matter how big or small it is). Here in Jamestown, North Dakota, I have to complain about the dust and the gravel road. It is very dusty!
Back in Kentucky, I always have a clean car. Here in North Dakota, I find my car always dirty. It feels like the people in Jamestown and the surrounding towns are used to having dirty cars. Come on, someone has to do their job and pave the roads! Where all the tax money go?
Alright, enough for the ranting!

The Jamestown Campground
We were camping summer of 2008 when Winn told me that it is time to go home back in Kentucky. We have been camping for over 2 weeks and I am also tired. So I said yes. We took the route going north since I told him that I wanted to visit North Dakota and see its capital - Bismarck. I have been to North Dakota twice but we went to Grand Forks and Fargo and I didn't see much around the state.
After camping in Montana, we went straight to North Dakota. I thought we are going to stay for a night in Bismarck since there's lots of nice scenic spots to see in the capital of North Dakota. I was wrong! Winn keeps on driving and I ended up being upset. I went to sleep while he's driving. I woke up still not talking to my driver. Then he told me to look for a campground so we could retire for the night. It has been a long drive from Bozeman, Montana to Jamestown, North Dakota.
I saw a campground which was right near the Interstate 94 - Jamestown Campground. Winn went inside the office and register for 1 night. The campground is nice and clean. The lady that escorted to our site (previous owner of the campground) was picking up sticks. Winn was very polite to asked her, "What its like to run a campground?" The lady said, " The campground is for sale, buy it and you will know." They both had a long conversation on how to run the campground. We stayed for another night and went back to Kentucky.
